These are three of the best and most fun sites for kids. Luckily kids like them too.

Open Multiple Windows

Current Personal Computers are designed to let you do several things at the same time. One of the best examples of this is to have two or more Windows displayed on your screen at the same time. You can have two or more different programs open in these multiple windows like your word processor and your email program, or have the same program doing two different things at the same time like your word processor with two different documents open at the same time. A really good way to start using your computer this way is with your Web browser. It's very easy to open multiple windows with each window at a different Web page.

Click on File on the Menu Bar and choose New, then Navigator Window.

Navigate Multiple Windows

A new window will open in a cascading style (so you can still see some of the first window) with your Home page displayed. You can then enter the web address you wish that window to go to. The first window stays where you left it. You can add as many windows as you want. Practically though most people, and their computers have a very hard time dealing with more than 3 or 4 simultaneous windows. To jump from one window to another click on the window you want and it will come to the front. You can also use the Start Bar across the bottom of your screen to choose windows. Move windows about by clicking and dragging on the Title Bar at the very top of each window.
