Getting Books and Other Useful Resources
Buying eBook Titles
The two main vendors are Barnes and Noble:

and Powells:

When you purchase a title from either vendor, they will send you an email message with specific directions for downloading that title. Make sure you follow those specific directions for that title from that specific seller. The steps will change from vendor to vendor and from title to title.
UVA Etext Center
Another Project Gutenberg like service is available from University of Virginia Etext Center. It has two sections, one contains 50,000 titles in twelve different languages which can be read either online in a web browser or offline depending on the title, the second section has 1600 titles of classic literature all available online using a web browser or offline using the highly proprietary Microsoft Reader Software, or now to download to a Palm PDA device.

Here's their html version of Walden, SaveAs to your hard disk, and then use the Rocket Writer software to convert it to Rocket eBook format and load to your REB 1100. The steps appear complex, but once accomplished you'll discover it's not too bad for loading a number of public domain titles at one setting.
How We Done it Good
Here's an excellent web site based on research and experience of another library system in Kansas that you might find useful.
