Getting Started

Quick Start

The REB 1100 (and Rocket eBook) are very easy to use.

Here are the 5 steps to getting started. You push the buttons, or click on a logo to activate.

Looking at the device we can do a simple "around the horn" approach:

1) Page Up and Page Down Buttons (left hand side)

2) Font Size (upper left logo), toggles between small and large

3) Text Orientation (upper right logo), can rotate to any text direction

4) Pick a Book (lower right logo), opens a menu to access different books

5) Play with a Book (lower left logo), opens a menu to set bookmarks and lookup words

Super Quick Start

For the patron who needs even more help getting started here is an even simpler 3 part process:

1) The librarian chooses the book for the patron

2) Page up and Page Down Buttons

3) When you turn the device on and then off, it resumes exactly where it left off (returns to the page of the book it was at when shut off).
