Browse a Book

Selecting a Browse lets a patron use that ebook for up to 15 minutes. Just like real books on a real library shelf, when a patron has a book in their hands, no one else can use it. A Browse results in the exact same display and functionality as a check out.

Search Results

The search results display lists all the matches. Using a dropdown the list can be arranged in a number of ways.

The title links to a specific bibliographic record, which in some cases includes an abstract. On the right are links to either a Browse a Book or Read a Book Online.

Browse

Choosing Browse returns the full display of that ebook, including all the special tools to help you use the book effectively.

You can get a full screen display of the ebook by choosing to Hide Tools. Then you can navigate the regular pages of the book using the bar over the text area.

Tools

The Tools box allows you do work with the text you've chosen. You can search the ebook.

You can also get an expanded Table of Contents that shows you where you are at all times.
